Does It Get the Pass? examines romantic comedies throughout the ages to determine, as the title says, whether they get "the pass' — i.e., avoid fulfilling a certain number of stereotypes — and what that means for our understanding of romance as a genre. All in good fun, hosts Maggie and Rebecca seek to pick apart the genre they love the most with humor and heart, and decide just what makes a good rom-com, whether it gets the pass or not.
