Building a Kingdom Community That Lasts | Kingdom Community Week 7 | 29 Mar 2026 | Andrew Elphinston

Andrew Elphinston concluded our spring term series, "Kingdom Community: Living the way of Jesus together", by speaking about a community built on obedience, not admiration. Passage: Matthew 7:13–29 (Two Paths, Two Trees, Two Foundations) Aim: To help the community resist anxiety, consumerism, and comparison. Key emphases: - Jesus ends the Sermon with a communal warning: discipleship is not hearing — it is doing, and doing together. - True community is rooted in shared obedience to Jesus’ way. - Foundation-building is a collective project.
