In the time before mass media, stories were used to explain the world around us, to educate, and of course, to entertain. In a tavern, a market square, or around a fire, stories were shared everywhere.Even in today's hectic world, story is still one of the main ways people share information. In The Firelight is a weekly podcast where you'll hear some of the great folktales, myths, and legends from the world over.Some you may have heard many times, while others may be new to you.
