Traveling With Kids Doesn't Suck

People always have opinions about kids as soon as they're out in public. "Why would you travel with them, they won't remember it?" "Being on an airplane with a screaming baby is the worst thing that could ever happen to me." (Taken as actual quotes from Tik Tok comments I've seen multiple times.) Traveling with kids is a huge hassle. No doubt about that. It feels like you're packing your entire house up, they never sleep the first time there, and they have to go potty at the worst times. But the memories you make at the destination are priceless. A lifetime of memories is worth a few hours of "Are we there yet?"  Listen along for some of my lowest travel woes, and some of my highest triumphs.  Have a funny travel story with your kids? 7: Being A First Time Mom Is Hard

Being a first time mom is one of the hardest adjustments you'll ever make; mental and physical.  First time parents tend to get brushed off as being overdramatic, and like their struggles are somehow less than. The huge mental, physical, and emotional changes that come with being a first time parent are no easy feat.  But I like to say first time parents are just figuring out their super powers that make them an amazing new human being.

Let Moms Be Excited

Motherhood is full of conflicting emotions and can often feel isolating.  What makes this isolation a bigger divide is when people get annoyed at moms for being...moms.  Talking about their babies and experiences as a mom.  Often the immediate reaction is to claim she "lost herself in motherhood". But is that always true? Or is she taking on a new identity after a huge life change?  Watch and let me know your thoughts!

5: Timelines Suck

Have you ever felt the small painful twinge of jealousy after seeing yet another person post a successful accomplishment on Facebook? How about another new job announcement on Linked In? It's not that you're unhappy for this person but it makes you think... what about me? What have I done with my life? In this episode we're diving right into these really uncomfortable...and well... sucky feeling of comparing timelines. There's a lot of nuance that goes with this conversation so I'm bringing it up to think about too. Yes I'm talking about privilege and trauma. Let's dive into these feelings that we probably all prefer to avoid.
