This animation consists of a single cloud layer whose density shader is warped by the normals of an animated power fractal. Both fractals are animated by the thickness of the cloud layer over the course of the animation, with the cloud's density shader moving upwards and the warping fractal moving downnwards.nbsp; The pace is a little quick but it shows a lot of promise for creating more realistic looking cloud animations. Other possibilities include using the normals of the terrain as a fixed warping shader and seeing how the clouds change as they are move across the terrain. Download the movie

This is a second animation of my leaf growth model showing a full tree. Render Settings: Detail 0.67, AA 3, GI 2,3 Leaf growth animation test

This demo simulates the growth of leaves on a tree by animating an image map used as an additional opacity function.nbsp; This is a progressive render, showing only every 4th frame at 6 fps. I'll update it as the render progresses. Leaf growth animation test

This animation was a test for TerraTweak and TG0.9. Several surfacing, atmosphere and lighting settings were animated using Terratweak to create intermediate TGW files between key frame TGWs.nbsp; Lighting was the most difficult to animate, with keyframes required for 0, 1, 2, 4 and 8 degrees elevation of the sun above the horizon. 4 Seasons in One Day animation

This movie is a fly over of the Grand Canyon to test the memory usage of a composite terrain consisting of 6 4097x4097 TER files. The surfacing is very basic to keep render times down to a reasonable time, although the TGD also includes masks for the colorado river which can bee seen in the middle section of the animation.
