003: Encouraging Self Study And Empowering Mindful Action With Terrie Reeves
Enjoy the conversation with my good friend, Terrie Reeves!
About Terrie:
"Empower Heath America was launched 5 years ago because of my desire to empower individuals, teams and organizations to make intentional, sustainable change. Two decades of research around human behavior, and my experience in corporate America and healthcare has equipped me to bring forward-thinking solutions to my clients, so change is possible.
I have been described as a high-energy, passionate leader who is focused, resilient and results oriented, and I bring a systems approach mind-set when partnering with clients.
Cultural and individual transformation requires the co-creation of an action plan, a readiness to embrace change and a well-defined process to institutionalize it. I use a proprietary method which gives structure to institutionalizing change. However, I leverage and integrate additional evidence-based tools and resources based on client need and desired outcome.
I have launched several companies, provided change management consulting services to a wide variety of organizations, and designed and implemented hundreds of interventions focused on improving readiness to change, engagement, human performance and health. In addition to my westernized education and corporate experience, I have practiced and facilitated yoga, meditation and mindfulness training for 2 decades, equating to over 10,000 hours. This exposure and experience has broaden my perspective, allowing me to serve my clients in a more progressive fashion. "You can only create in your life what you can envision in your mind.
Empower Health America is a reflection of my life's work and allows me to do what I love, empowering and challenging organizations, teams and individuals to not just survive, but to thrive.
Change is hard, but possible with the right mind-set and partner. EHA's mission statement is, "To transform lives, communities, organizations and the world by encouraging self-study and empowering mindful action". Not a modest mission, but one worthy of pursuit. "
