Prophets in a Minor Key Week 4: Malachi

The 12 books entitled the Minor Prophets are the last 12 books of the Hebrew Bible, tend to not have a lot of chapters, and can sometimes be missed when we read the Bible. But while they are called Minor Prophets, they contain major calls for people to faithfully live God’s Kingdom and critiques when God’s people are unfaithful to Him, and His Kingdom. In week 4- the final week of our Prophets in a Minor Key sermon series- we looked at the last of the 12 Minor Prophets and the last book in the Old Testament- the book of the prophet Malachi.

Easter 2025: Luke 24:13-35

Tables Week 5: Luke 14:15-24

It seems like the gospel accounts of the life of Jesus revolve around Jesus either going to, being at, or coming from a gathering around a table. What might the tables that Jesus inhabited teach us about the kind of people he wants us to be, the kind of the people he wants us to have a heart for, and what it might look like to invite people to our tables or be invited to theirs? In week 5 of our Tables sermon series we looked at the Parable of the Great Banquet found in Luke 14:15-24.

For week 4 we looked at the Parable of the Wedding Feast found in Luke 14:1, 7-14.
