Gratitude Over Grumbling

Series: N/A Service: Sunday AM Worship Type: Sermon Speaker: Steve Klein We are living a culture of dissatisfaction with everything; complaining and grumbling are pandemic.  The Scriptures condemn complaining in general and particularly when it comes to grumbling against God and one another.  We are commanded to be thankful always for all things and all people.  Where thankfulness abounds, the pursuit of peace and unity is a success.

The Structure of Leviticus

Series: N/A Service: Sunday PM Worship Type: Sermon Speaker: Steve Klein God communicated His word to us in human language.  He often used literary structure that is part of human language (such as the parallelism of the Psalms).  Chiastic structure builds a thought through a series of statements and then repeats them in reverse order.  The chiastic structure of Leviticus points us to the significance of atonement in connection to God’s holiness, His holy law, His holy people, and the grace that He has bestowed.
