Welcome! My name is Micaela, and I am so excited to kick off Confidence Chats! Now, you may be wondering what this series will entail…. The purpose of Confidence Chats is to showcase how subjective growing confidence is. It is by no means a linear process, each journey is unique to the individual! After recently being diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 19 and battling with body dysmorphia perpetrated by ill-fitting clothing and a world filled with stereotypes, it became my mission to encourage our future leaders to embrace their uniqueness. A key element in embracing what makes you unique is having the confidence to know that you are enough just the way you are. The Confidence Chat’s series will provide tips and tricks on how to grow confidence, and showcase each individuals uniqueness in their own journey of growth.
