G-Squared Unfiltered: Episode 4 - NBA/NHL Conference Finals Recap and Finals Preview. NCAA Talk, Locks of the Week, and More!

In this latest episode of G-Squared Unfiltered, the guys get into the conference finals of the NBA and NHL and talk about how their Dallas Stars unfortunately fell short to Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers. They aren't happy about the loss given that it's the 2nd year the Stars have fell short in the conference finals. However, things are looking up on the NBA side of things and the guys are excited about their Dallas Mavericks are advancing to the NBA finals. The guys are hoping their hometown Mavericks pull through and become the NBA champion, but the Celtics are nothing to mess around with. The guys also get into some NCAA talk with the football season right around the corner, and of course the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns squaring off in the Women's College World Series. The guys preview this game and are hoping for a classic Red River Rivalry series in the championship game. It's an exciting time of year with football right around the corner, so of course they had to talk about the Dallas Cowboys and their lack of off season moves and what to expect (or not to?) for the future. Either way, the future is looking very perplexing for the Cowboys and the guys are not impressed. They also give out their locks of the week and as always get off track into much more random and hilarious sports discussions.

In this latest episode of G-Squared Unfiltered the guys cover an array of things from all the action going on throughout the NBA and NHL Conference Finals. The guys are living really nicely with their Dallas Stars and Dallas Mavericks both trying to book their tickets to the NBA finals. They give their takes on how the Dallas teams are fairing and of course they go in and talk about the Eastern Conference finals going on. Do the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars have a chance to go to the finals? We are hoping so. Garrett and Garrett also dive into the NCAA baseball and softball World Series upcoming and how their teams are going to fair, while also touching on some MLB and NCAAF. They also give out our locks of the week and go over other lines they like, and of course had to cover the Scottie Scheffler situation. An episode packed with all the current sports stories over the past couple weeks!

G-Squared Unfiltered: Episode 2 - NBA/NHL Playoffs First Round Recap, Spring Game Recap, Locks of the Week, and More

The guys recap everything that's happening throughout every series of the first round of the NBA/NHL playoffs and all the highs and lows for every team. They get into their hometown Dallas teams playoffs series and how the Stars fought their way back into the series with the Knights and how the Mavs are in an absolute dogfight with the clippers. They also are very excited and intrigued by the NBA Western Conference 2nd round matchup between the Nuggets and the Timberwolves. Can the Timberwolves do it? Is Ant the new face of the NBA? Speaking of intriguing matchups, the guys are compelled by all the 2nd round matchups in the NHL - every series looks like it may be a close one which is exciting after the first round ended quickly for many teams, except the Stars of course. Garret & Garrett also give their predictions for the next round of playoffs for both sports. Could Lebron and KD be on the move next season? The Suns should just blow it up right? The NBA is just as entertaining when teams lose as when they win in the playoffs, the guys discuss all the moving parts that could be upcoming in the next off season. At the end of the episode the boys go over what they saw in the Oklahoma and Texas spring games, and what they're excited for, what they're nervous for, and players to look out for as the season approaches. After rough first week where the guys went 0-2 on their first episode of the podcast, they are looking to bounce back in a major way with 2 absolute locks (we hope) in order to make it back to even. After both locks missed, this led to us giving ourselves the idiot of the week along with Jontay Porter who decided that gambling was a better path in life than being an NBA player.

In this episode Garret and Garrett will introduce their first episode of the podcast called "G-Squared Unfiltered." They will cover all the major sporting events as we close in on the NBA and NHL playoffs and touch on the Oklahoma and Texas spring games coming up on 4/20. They guys also talk about their special segment "Idiot of the Week" with reporter Gregg Doyel becoming a little too confident and Ryan Garcia's abnormal behavior.
