Wade, Women and allies are coming together nationally to peacefully protest and fight for their reproductive freedom, justice and human right to their Bodily Autonomy. Join a local march, wear Green, don’t go to work or school and/or stay home this Monday, June 24th , in solidarity! Why? Because we are ALL f*cking Human Beings and Tax-paying Citizens whose Human Rights are being taken away. And it’s absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. PERIOD. Bitches are in the house!! No, for real! EP 2 - Happy BELTANE! Connecting the female energy throughout history.

What is the Beltane holiday exactly and where does it originally come from? Real-life sisters, Michelle and Amiee ‘MiMi’, return in this second episode of J.A.N.E. Talks to discuss ‘The Power of Women’ throughout time and history including the Pagan culture. What can we learn from those ancient women, culture, goddesses and folklore to help society in our ‘modern’ world today? LOTS! Learning ANY accurate history helps to not repeat it and helps find your inner wild and raw self! Express yourself!! (Please excuse some technical audio issues and Amiee’s unique dyslexic pronunciations and word choices. ) The two sisters continue their discussion whilst enjoying their cannabis of choice (responsibly!) and embark on entertaining and educational topics, including: * Their personal experiences of being treated as 2nd class citizens in America due to their gender. Can you say Gender Discrimination much? Who else has felt this way? Women’s treatment of being 2nd class citizens in the ‘modern’ world: ie Bounty Laws, 1860 laws resurrected, protecting literal BODILY AUTONOMY for ALL ! Etc. The list goes on and on… ‘The Handmaids Tale’ MENtality is becoming more and more a reality each day. And that is UNACCEPTABLE. * Racism and how it is complete bullshit and illogical. * The amount of Fear women invoke in certain individuals is beyond remarkable and infuriating! * Acknowledging White Supremacy in our systems since the beginning of our country. * The sisters’ touch on their geneology findings of their multiethnic background and historical ancestry and prove that you really cannot “judge a book by its cover” about where anybody’s families come from in general. Let’s be grateful that they all made it through life to get where we are today. THAT is an amazing fact itself! * Where does the idea of Witches come from originally and why have they been greatly misunderstood throughout folklore, religions and human history? Oppression much? They are One with Earth and Animals, much like the Native American philosophies. How is that ‘evil’? It’s called propaganda throughout history. * How are we STILL in a world where sex-trafficking still exists??!! * Women running and leading the world would get more shit done hence why we ALL need to get more involved in our own communities and literal backyard politics and city councils. We are all worth that. * How much is life going to regress if we do NOT stand up for our own HUMAN RIGHTS? * Why the ERA NEEDS TO BE PASSED NOW!! * If women in America took ONE day to protest and not work or buy anything as consumers it would halt the economy and have a great impact! * Amiee’s experience protesting with Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights organization in LA and why you should wear the color green symbolizing solidarity, ie “Marea Verde” =‘The Green Wave’ is here. EP 1 - HERstory 101: Welcome to J.A.N.E.talks! What the hell is Period Poverty?

What and Why is J.A.N.E.talks ? The real and raw conversations about womanhood and human rights. Why? Because women are human beings - we have a LOT of shit to say in this world and rightfully so! We’re two sisters, Michelle and Amiee “MiMi” , who were tired of not finding enough platforms out there on the important topics so we created this new podcast and website as a safe and open place to talk about anything and everything raw and important to converse about for educational and awareness purposes. Because if we don’t talk about these “taboo” topics no one will ever learn or grow. We live in the 21st Century now. Time to Evolve! So, Let’s Talk About it!
