Moderiert von Cathérine Hug Eine DIGILAB-Debatte zwischen Klaus Maeck und Tanja Schwerdorf moderiert von Cathérine Hug Dies ist der Kunsthaus Zürich-Podcast mit sporadisch stattfindenden Episoden, der 2021 gestartet ist und in dem wir bereits mit spannenden kunstaffinen Expert*innen aus den unterschiedlichsten Feldern wie dem Nobelpreisträger für Wirtschaft William Nordhaus, dem Soziologen und Klimakriegsspezialisten Harald Welzer oder auch der Ökofeministin Vandana Shiva gesprochen haben. Mein Name ist Cathérine Hug, ich bin seit 2013 Kuratorin für Kunst des 20. Jh.s am Kunsthaus, mit einer besonderen Liebe für Dada sowie computerbasierter Kunst. Unsere Gäste am 27.8.2024 sind Klaus Maeck und Tanja Schwerdorf, die beim Film «Alles ist Eins. Ausser der 0» gemeinsam Regie geführt haben und der im Sommer 2021 seinen Kino-Start feierte. Klaus Maeck ist berühmt als Produzent und Regisseur für Filme über Subkulturen im Deutschsprachigen Raum und seiner Nähe zur Kultband der Einstürzenden Neubauten. Tanja Schwerdorf ist eine aufstrebende Filmemacherin aus Hamburg und war Juniorproduzentin von «Fraktus – das letzte Kapital der Musikgeschichte». Maeck und Schwerdorf führen uns in dieser Episode in die spannende Geschichte des Chaos Computer Clubs (CCC) und ihrem Mitbegründer Wau Holland ein, die sie im Film «Alles ist Eins. A DIGILAB-debate between Jürg Lehni und Cathérine Hug

This is the sporadic podcast hosted by Kunsthaus Zürich, which started in 2021 and where we already talked with exciting art loving experts from various fields such as Nobel prize winner for Economics William Nordhaus, sociologist and climate war specialist Harald Welzer, and ecofeminist Vandana Shiva in the framework of project such as “Earth Beats” and “Re-Orientations.” My name is Cathérine Hug, I am curator for Modern Art at the Kunsthaus, with a special love for Dada as well as computer-based Art. Our guest is Jürg Lehni, a pioneer in digital art, who became well-known for his creative Robots such as Hector and Rita some 20 years ago. Lehni has internationally exhibited in group and solo shows at the MoMA New York, Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, Centre Pompidou in Paris, ICA as well as V&A in London, to name only a few, and is now at the Kunsthaus with two impressive installations, namely “Four Transitions” and “Apple Talk,” about which we spoke on Wednesday of August 7, 2024.
