Ep 6: Larry & Monica's Story

May is National Older Americans Month, and this year’s theme is “Champion Your Health.” If you want to be inspired by an older adult who truly champions his health… you gotta hear from Larry! As a 95-years-young resident at Compass Point Catered Assisted Living, Larry is a retired pathologist who blazes his own trail by gardening, fishing, and prioritizing his health and wellbeing. When he met Monica, Three Pillars’ Wellness Connection Manager and personal trainer, the two quickly became a dynamic duo. Hear how they motivate each other, celebrate physical fitness wins, broaden their horizons, and champion their health with an emphasis on overall wellness.

Ep 5: Bill's Story

Life's Just Getting Started brings you stories from the heart of Three Pillars. In our fifth episode, travel back in time to a Vietnam hospital in 1967 with Bill, a Chaplain stationed there with the U.S. Army. Tune in to hear this Seattle native share how he was drawn to the seminary in California, and later called to join the Army, serve active duty in Vietnam, take a job in Pittsburgh, and ultimately land in Wisconsin. (Two separate times at Three Pillars, but who's counting!)

Ep 4: Catherine's Story

“I could live at Three Pillars for forty years!” Catherine, the youngest and one of the newest residents at Three Pillars’ Village on the Square, loves many things about the campus. The picturesque, natural setting, activities galore… and being a short walk away from her mom, Dorothy, who just turned 101! Catherine might not be sold on Wisconsin winters, but she is sold on the sense of community. Tune in as this dog-loving, cribbage-playing, cornhole-enthusiast shares her story and why she proactively moved from California to the lifestyle she’s been looking forward to in Lake Country.

Ep 3: John & Carol's Story

John and Carol were college sweethearts who went their separate ways after graduation. 55 years later, after living full and fulfilling chapters of their own and having zero contact with each other, they reunited when John knocked on Carol’s door in Arizona. Love, marriage, and moving to Three Pillars’ Village on the Square followed. Join our hosts, Josh and Kelsey, and hear about their incredible and unexpected love story on the third episode of Life's Just Getting Started.
