Beskrivelse

Episode Description:In this episode of Meditations, we reflect on Lamentations 3:21–23 and the powerful truth that God’s mercy is new every morning. Even in seasons of pain, disappointment, loss, or uncertainty, we can find hope when we choose to remember the faithfulness of God. The writer of Lamentations reminds us that our hope is not based on perfect circumstances, but on the unfailing compassion of the Lord. We are not consumed because His mercy keeps us. Every new day is another reminder that God has not given up on us. Anchor Scripture:Lamentations 3:21–23 — “This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” Key Points: * Hope often begins with what we choose to remember. * God’s mercy keeps us from being consumed by life’s challenges. * His compassion does not fail, even when people, plans, or systems fail. * Every morning comes with fresh mercy and renewed grace. * God’s faithfulness remains great in every season. Reflection Question:What are you choosing to recall to your mind today — your pain, or God’s faithfulness? Prayer Focus: Ask God to help you remember His goodness, receive His fresh mercy, and trust in His unfailing faithfulness each new day. Scripture: Colossians 2:6–7 In this episode of Meditations, we reflect on Paul’s instruction to continue walking in Christ just as we received Him. The Christian life does not only begin with Christ; it must continue in Christ. We are called to be rooted in Him, built up in Him, established in the faith, and overflowing with thanksgiving. Key Thoughts 1. The Christian life begins and continues in Christ We received Christ by faith, and we must continue to walk in Him by faith. 2. Be rooted in Christ Roots speak of depth, nourishment, and stability. Our private life with God must be strong if our public life will stand. 3. Be built up in Christ God is building character, maturity, endurance, wisdom, and faith in us. Christ is our foundation and our strength. 4. Be established in the faith Sound teaching matters. We cannot be stable in a faith we do not understand. 5. Abound with thanksgiving Gratitude protects the heart from murmuring and reminds us of God’s faithfulness. Reflection Questions Am I walking in Christ daily, or depending on my own wisdom? Are my roots growing deeper in prayer, the Word, and obedience? Is my life being built on Christ or on unstable things? Am I established in the faith, or easily moved by pressure and opinion? Is thanksgiving overflowing from my heart? Prayer Father, help me to walk in Christ daily. Let my roots go deeper in Your Word, in prayer, and in obedience. Build me up in Christ and establish me firmly in the faith. Let my life overflow with thanksgiving. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Season 5 Episode 159

In today’s episode of Meditations, we reflect on Paul’s warning in Colossians 2:8: “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” Paul reminds us that a believer can be captured without physical chains. Wrong ideas, empty philosophies, human traditions, and worldly systems can quietly take hold of the mind and lead the heart away from Christ. This episode encourages us to guard our minds, test every belief by the Word of God, and ensure that our values, choices, and lifestyle are truly “after Christ.” Not every popular idea is godly. Not every deep-sounding philosophy is true. Not every tradition is biblical. Not every cultural value agrees with Christ. The real question for every believer is: Is this after Christ? Key Thoughts

Season 5 Episode 158

Summary Many people expect God to change their lives by changing their circumstances—money, promotion, connections, or a sudden miracle. But Scripture repeatedly shows a different pattern: when God wants to transform a person, He begins by sending His Word. In this episode, we explore why the phrase “And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying…” is often the start of life-change—because God’s Word brings identity, correction, direction, strength, and lasting transformation from the inside out. Key Points * God often changes a person before He changes their situation. * Money can improve comfort, but only the Word can reshape character and convictions. * The Word of God doesn’t only inform—it confronts, discerns, and rebuilds the inner man. * God’s Word brings clarity and direction, even when the season is uncertain. * God speaks in exile, storms, and confusion—not only in “perfect” conditions. * When God sends His Word, He is not just sending information—He is sending His presence and power. * Our response matters: receive, obey, confess, and remain in the Word daily. Main Scriptures Jeremiah 1:4–5 (KJV) — “Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying…” Hebrews 4:12 (KJV) — The Word is living, powerful, and discerning. Psalm 119:105 (KJV) — God’s Word is a lamp and a light for direction. Ezekiel 1:3 (KJV) — “The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel…”

Key Scripture “Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.” — Isaiah 12:3 In today’s episode of Meditations, we reflect on the beautiful promise in Isaiah 12:3. Salvation is not dry, empty, or powerless. It is a deep well of grace, peace, strength, mercy, and refreshing. But the believer must learn to draw from that well — and Isaiah tells us that we draw with joy. Joy is more than a feeling. It is the spiritual confidence that God is our salvation, our strength, and our song. Even when life feels dry, the well of salvation is never empty. In Christ, we have access to living water every day. In this meditation, you will be encouraged to draw again — draw strength for your assignment, peace for your heart, wisdom for your decisions, grace for your weakness, and hope for your future. Key Thought:Salvation is not just something God did in your past; it is a well from which you can draw daily. Prayer Focus:Ask God to restore your joy, refresh your heart, strengthen your faith, and teach you to draw daily from the wells of salvation.
