We also talk about addiction in the Black community, how it shows up in families, how it affects those who love us, and why healing has to be a personal choice. I also share parts of my personal journey that many people don’t see—including a season of homelessness, survival, and rebuilding—because it’s easy to judge someone’s success when you don’t know the road they had to walk to get there.
