What is Taiwan?

More and more people around the world are tuning into Taiwan. Is this a good thing?

As I avoid the Coronavirus in more ways than one, I think about what it’s like to be a Westerner in Taiwan. Generally, quite nice!

After my first day out of quarantine, looking at the beautiful nature of Taiwan, I mostly talk about the Coronavirus and politics; sigh! Perhaps I’ll do a piece about butterflies and fruit next week.

What has six days in quarantine held for me, Taiwan and the world? I built some steps (literally, not metaphorically).

After a wild rush for the airport, my family and I arrive in Taiwan, happily self-quarantined for 14 days.
