Episode 6: Kirana's Cutie Bugz

Welcome to the sixth episode of "Bugs in Our Speaker"! Where we learn more about the POC at Sarah Lawrence College and we get to tune into their stories and their life! We must give them a voice to get rid of those bugs and clear their speakers up! This episode stars Kirana Rumpak. Kirana is a sophomore Pre-Health student at Sarah Lawrence College with a concentration in Chemistry. She was born and raised in San Francisco and has powerful ties to the Bay Area Indonesian community. She is a part of an Indonesian student organization in New York City and has been since her freshman year of college. Tying her identity and career path together, Kirana hopes to represent Indonesian American women in the medical field, which has long been male-dominated. Tune in! Episode 5: Maddie's Boogie Woogie Bugs

Welcome to the fifth episode of "Bugs in Our Speaker"! Where we learn more about the POC at Sarah Lawrence College and we get to tune into their stories and their life! We must give them a voice to get rid of those bugs and clear their speakers up! This episode stars Madelyn Shih. Madelyn is a junior at Sarah Lawrence College, studying a mixture of psychology, literature, and art. She grew up in Santa Clarita California and began her dance journey there at the age of three. Episode 4: Rosy's Rockin' Bugs

Welcome to the fourth episode of "Bugs in Our Speaker"! Where we learn more about the POC at Sarah Lawrence College and we get to tune into their stories and their life! We must give them a voice to get rid of those bugs and clear their speakers up! This episode stars Rosy Jackson. Rosy is a Sophomore from St. Louis, MO interested in creative writing and journalism at Sarah Lawrence College. She is also a student-athlete on the women's soccer team and is involved in DEI in Athletics. She is passionate about activism and abolition and is taking classes on race, slavery, intervention, and justice. Tune in! Learn more about Rosy and the "Bugs in Our Speaker"! Episode 3: Tia's Music Buggies

Welcome to the third episode of "Bugs in Our Speaker"! Where we learn more about the POC at Sarah Lawrence College and we get to tune into their stories and their life! Make sure to listen or watch along as we learn more about those in our community who have bugs in their speaker! We must give them a voice to get rid of those bugs and clear their speakers up! This episode stars Tia Bowen. Tia is a junior at Sarah Lawrence concentrating in music and psychology. They are from Northern Virginia where they play in a band called Good Fortune with their friends from high school. Tia is also one of the co-chairs of Harambee, the Black student union as well as one of the space managers of Common Ground, the student of color space. Tune in! Episode 2: Soah's Bugs and The Movies

Welcome to the second episode of "Bugs in Our Speaker"! Where we learn more about the POC at Sarah Lawrence College and we get to tune into their stories and their life! Make sure to listen or watch along as we learn more about those in our community who have bugs in their speaker! We must give them a voice to get rid of those bugs and clear their speakers up! This episode stars Soah. Soah is a Tucson and New York City-based filmmaker who likes creating worlds she can disappear into for a while. She hopes that her films make audiences feel like fairies and encourage folks to look, listen, and stay a while. With a focus on cinematography, Soah is currently studying filmmaking and moving image arts at Sarah Lawrence College where she can grow her knowledge in the craft while learning other subjects that inspire her storytelling.
