EP 6: The Good (Creative) Book

It's not a textbook. It's not a manual. It's a collection of inspired creative writing. It's God's Word for us. In this episode, Dave and Jimmy Orr explore what it means that God chose to speak through historical narrative, poetry, parable, apocalyptic vision, and song. Together they dig into what it looks like to read Scripture imaginatively, why a mosaic of voices and literary styles across the whole canon gives us a fuller picture of God, and why that's actually good news for artists and anyone hungry to know him.
