The teaser trailer was unveiled at CinemaCon by director Todd Phillips, who shared how he'd spoken with Joaquin Phoenix about making a sequel while on the set of the first Joker, while addressing Lady Gaga's casting as Harley Quinn. “We loved the character of Arthur too much, but we didn’t want to jinx the [original] movie...
