Women’s Ministry gathering was a sacred, fragrant night of worship as Rose led us into a deeper understanding of what it truly means to be prepared and anointed by God. Through Scripture, science, and Spirit‑filled testimony, she reminded us that the story of essential oils begins in Genesis, continues through the tabernacle, and flows all the way into our lives today. Rose shared how essential oils are mentioned over 500 times in Scripture, woven into the lives of kings, priests, prophets, and everyday believers. From lighting lamps, to preserving life, to healing the sick, to anointing Jesus Himself — oils have always been part of God’s design for restoration, beauty, and worship. We learned: • Plants, herbs, and oils were created by God on the third day — full of life, purpose, and healing • Essential oils were used for anointing, beauty, cleansing, healing, and even currency • One drop of oil carries the power of a basket of herbs — God’s original medicine • Fragrance is spiritual — a symbol of God’s presence, joy, and nearness • Biblical anointing was never random; it was intentional, holy, and deeply personal • God still uses oils today to support our physical, emotional, and spiritual health • The “oil of joy,” “oil of gladness,” and “oil of anointing” are not metaphors — they are invitations Rose also shared her personal testimony of healing — how God used essential oils to bring restoration when doctors said surgery was the only option. Her story reminded us that God still heals. As worship filled the room and oil fragranced the air, many of us felt the tangible presence of God — comforting, healing, and drawing us close. Women’s Ministry — December 2025 Bible Study Bloom on Mission: Right Where God Has Planted You Matthew 28:19–20 • Colossians 2:6–7 In this month’s B.L.O.O.M. Women’s Ministry gathering, we were blessed by a powerful word from Martha, the Southside CBC Pastor’s Wife, reminding us that being on mission for Jesus doesn’t always mean going far… sometimes it simply means showing up where we already are. Rooted in Matthew 28:19–20, this teaching calls us back to the heart of discipleship:obedience, grace, love, and faithfulness in the everyday places God has intentionally planted us. Martha shared how God meets us right where we are—whether in our homes, workplaces, churches, or even in the messy places of family gatherings. These aren’t random locations. They are assignments. And the mission field God entrusts to us is often the people standing right in front of us. Together we explored: • What it truly means to “go and make disciples” in our daily lives • How discipleship is less about perfection and more about obedience • Loving the unlovable and choosing grace when it feels undeserved • How our lives speak louder than our words—especially to our children, families, and coworkers • Why staying rooted in Christ (Colossians 2:6–7) is essential if we want to bloom on mission • How forgiveness, kindness, patience, and consistency point others to Jesus • The reminder that we never walk this mission alone—Jesus is with us always This December teaching invites us to slow down, soften our hearts, and remember that God has already placed us exactly where He wants to use us. 🎙️ TESTIMONY TIME — He Restores: A Story of Grace, Fire, and First Love

In this testimony, a worship leader shares what God did in her during a moment when the atmosphere was thick with the Holy Spirit and the worship leader began to prophesy restoration, identity, and grace over the room. The presence of God was so heavy that it broke open places in her where she was still hurting. In that moment, she heard the voice of the Lord so clearly: “Don’t you see I’m the God who restores? 🎙️ TESTIMONY TIME - From Heroin to Healing: A Story of Freedom, Redemption, and a God who Restores

In this powerful testimony, a woman shares her journey from addiction, homelessness, and deep brokenness to complete freedom in Jesus Christ. Raised in a religious environment but never knowing Jesus personally, she drifted into a life of rebellion, pain, and heroin addiction that eventually cost her everything — including custody of her children. But even in the darkest places, God was already writing a redemption story for her. She opens up about the years she spent lost, searching for love in all the wrong places, walking the streets, and numbing her pain with drugs and destructive choices. She shares the heartbreak of watching her daughter raise her baby brother, the shame of losing her children to CPS, and the hopelessness of jail cells and rehab rooms. But she also shares the moment God began to reveal His promises — the moment He showed her the life she could have if she surrendered.
