Caller of the Night: Kevin shares experience witnessing the Kaikoura lights

This week on In My Day caller and former lighthouse keeper Kevin shared his experience witnessing the infamous Kaikoura lights.  The Kaikoura lights refers to a series of UFO sightings in the skies above the Kaikoura mountain ranges in December 1978. A television crew from Melbourne's Channel 0 were able to capture footage of the lights while onboard a Safe Air plane that was making a newspaper run from Wellington to Christchurch. Caller of the Night: Anna reminisces about pneumatic tubes

This week on In My Day caller Anna reminisced about pneumatic tubes, also known as Lamson Tubes, in department stores, and their modern-day use in emergency departments.  Pneumatic transportation was invented around 1800 and was used in offices to transport small packages and mail, but were largely phased out of stores in the 1970's.
