Welcome to Not For Heroes, where we dive into the shared experiences of חיילים, and understand the unspoken language that comes from serving.In this podcast, we’re not just talking about combat or operations—though that’s a part of it—but about the deeper experiences that shape who we are as soldiers and as civilians. I invite you to join me as we sit down with soldiers, past and present, to discuss everything from upbringing to Zionism, the decision to serve in קרבי (combat roles), and the challenges and pride of life in sadir (regular service).We’ll talk about the ops, sure, but just as importantly, we’ll explore how it felt for their families, their kids, and for themselves
