7. kicking off our monumental 2023

Recorded on January 24th, 2023. Karthik & Hari had pretty packed end of the year, with residency interviews and a significant life move to NYC, and of course, the holidays with friends and family. We reflected on the past year of 2022, the highs and lows, and we explore what is ahead of us in 2023. A bit of friendship, a flair of travel, a multitude of heavy lifts, and a heap of uncertainty. We're here.

6. three long weeks of miami and nyc shenanigans

Recorded on October 14th, 2022. Karthik & Hari spent about 3.5 weeks together, a week in Miami and 2 weeks in NYC, and we had a crazy blast. 2 of the best cities in the world, and we got it to explore them both with our friends, celebrating Hari's birthday and several of our friends' birthdays along the way. We talk about our travels, our adventures, and our shenanigans. And, finally, we explore how NYC and its people are the epitome of the "not not down" motto!

5. deep-fried spicy questions, with Mathi

Recorded on August 25th. The summer got past us, in a good way. To ring in the end of summer, we invited our dear friend Mathi to join us as our first ever special guest on the podcast! We will be answering community-sourced questions from Instagram and NGL, and we'll be quickly responding to a few rapid-fire "He's a 10, but / She's a 10, but" questions at the end. All of the questions are deep-fried and spiced up for extra kick. Several of our questions and answers have been cut out as they should never see the light of day.

4. life transitions of newKarthik & newHari

Recorded on July 2nd. We've been hard at work and busy with our summers in Seattle and Miami. With summer in full swing, the world is in flux and our lives are flux (in a good way). As our lives are changing and transitioning around us, we reflect on the major transitions of our lives: high school > undergraduate, undergraduate > grad school & work life, and beyond. We talk about how our environments and lifestyles evolved, and we continue to push the limits on what's possible in the different stages of our lives. It's a coming of age episode LOL

3. the waves of friendship and our tribes

Recorded on June 15. It's been a crazy month for both of us. Even better, we spent a few days with each other in the opposite coast, this time in Seattle, and we got a boat, boating across the lakes of Seattle. Karthik is about to start his new rotations and Hari has launched his new Airbnb business. The main topic of our episode is friendship: how we meet strangers, what it means to make friends, what it means to stay friends, how we let people into our tribe, and how we feel about our friends' lives changing. This is the first episode of a deep topic.
