Alice and Jasmine discover a mysterious compass buried in the ground on a simple Saturday bike ride. What begins as a minor tumble turns into the beginning of an unexpected magical adventure—one that leads them deep into a glowing cave and face-to-beak with a sad, talking owl named Gwithian. This is the first story in The Pirate’s Compass, part of the Stories from Dad series—a bedtime story told by a father for his daughters, and for anyone who still believes in magic.
