Restoration of Sight and Speech
Jesus (The word) comes to restore your sight and speech affecting your expression of Christ from a clear perspective.
What will govern us as we enter into a new season
We must get into a habit of referencing what the Lord is doing and what he has been doing.
Salvation must be viewed from it's fullness. We are saved from what we have done and what we could have done. We must appreciate the works of the cross, it speaks to your identity.
Psalm 119: 129-130
When we go to this book we look at the issue of the wonderful testimony.
These testimonies speak to the word of the Lord that we carry daily.It's something that comes alive in us. When we appreciate the full council of the scripture we begin to obey it
When we begin to understand what the word is and what it has done for us. We begin to obey once instructed by it
The word reflects the full devine nature of God.
"Therefore I obey them"
Your life begins to be a life that testifies of God. It becomes a reflection of scripture. You become a doer James 1:22
The word of the Lord is perfect it refreshes the soul. Psalm 19:7
Job 42, Job had come to a place of repentance. When we are going through things we can begin to question God. In Job 42 Job repented and said your words are too wonderful for me, I oblige to your program even when I don't understand what you are doing.
Be careful what you say in your testing/dry seasons, be careful about the people around you in these seasons. Sometimes we focus too much on the noise from the city(our friends, families) that you forget that the voice you should listen to is that of God only.
After Job repented, the Lord restored him, the relationship with God and Job was restored first, then he offered a sacrifice of repentance as a priest on behalf of his friends. There was a restoration of his priestly office. Before everything else is restored in your life there must be a restoration of your relationship with God first.
Joshua 24:14-15
There is a personal responsibility you bear towards salvation, towards your family and people he has trusted you with. "Now therefore serve the Lord, put away other gods. We live in a generation full of noise it's important that we choose the Lord, urgently choose the Lord today. These days your god might be your daily job. Don't loose the urgency of choosing God, things can collapse anytime, you can loose things in just one day, your golden calf can be anything you prioritize instead of God
"Entrance" Psalm 119:130
When you hear the word of the Lord, it must be seen in application, you must be able to apply the word into your life. For you to be a doer of the word. You must open the door for the word, open your heart and ears. You will not grow when your entrance is closed. You will not hear if your entrance is closed. When you open up your entrance you open for the Lord to bring illumination and understanding.
When you have illumination and understanding you will desire more of the word of God.
Matthew 12:22
Blindness and muteness comes before Jesus, we are seeing a restoration of Sight and restoration of speech. We see the issues of faith and desperation, they had faith that Jesus would heal the man. The faith of the friends of the man. We see the element of faith of his friends. Faith speaks of the understanding of the authority of his power. When Christ comes in . He comes to allow you to see, he comes to allow you to speak. He restores the sight and speech. When you consume the word of God there will be restoration of Sight and speech,you will accurately express Christ in your generation. You will stand as a disciple, who walk with people of faith. When you have lost sight and speech there is a community of people who will bring you to a place of restoration.
