How do we put ourselves in the position to get good sleep? - 3.) Mentality Shifts and Building Credibility - What do we do to build credibility with ourselves? Why do we believe every transformation starts with the mind? How will we stay consistent in cementing good habits into our lifestyle? What plays a role in developing self-credibility? - This was our first podcast in a while, and for good reason. Over the last two Months we’ve seen what being honest with ourselves has allowed us to realize and take action in. We value time when we are able to get clear and learn. This allows for more creativity and flow when we do look to take action. - We are doing good, but we can do more. We know a lot, but we can know more. We’ve seen a lot, but we can see more. - This podcast is a way for us to share our thoughts and in depth experiences in a way that may not be possible on other platforms. Therefore, we’ve become more and more accustomed to the dynamic of sharing in any way because we believe in the importance of sharing this knowledge and our own journeys overall. The world is becoming more technologically advanced and dependent. Instead of shying away from this fact, let us embrace it and continue to share, create, and explore. - In this Episode we dive into our own individual experiences regarding how we stayed on track during the holidays and how we are looking to get back to a routine, especially in the new year. We enjoyed good food, but we also knew that food wasn’t going to give us fuel. We worked out even when we didn’t want to or have the best equipment. We set ourselves reminders and got in quality supplements whenever we could in order to keep putting good things into our body instead of just bad, processed, unhealthy food. By doing these things, we realized we felt much better overall energetically. Check out the full podcast for our personal experiences related to our unique food consumption, workouts, and more. - Routines are helpful, namely when we are looking to make changes in our everyday eating, workout, and mental habits. We are starting to develop some self awareness and the key is to continue to build and make more progress each day. It’s easy to say we’ve learned a lot and stop learning. That’s when we start to diminish all the progress we’ve already made! It’s about recognizing that to whom much is given, much is required, and we have to keep learning, creating, and improving. -In this episode we touch on why we decided to build and launch DanielsTwins Fitness, and how important it is to implement simple, small habits that lead to a sustainable fitness-based lifestyle. Nobody can sustain a full on sprint for hours, and that is a small metaphor for how a healthy lifestyle should be lived. Prioritize your sleep, your nutrition, and add quality training/wellness routines into your schedule. Over time, you’ll feel, look, and live better as a result. -We also touch on how we made small lifestyle changes that got the ball rolling in our own fitness journeys. As we’ve grown and continued to learn through our own processes, we’ve realized how much other people need to know and how much we can share. Through this podcast and other platforms, our goal is to build a foundation that expands into a community of people who are determined to tackle the challenges that the American health system has put before us. In the first podcast, we didn’t really speak a lot about ourselves and the reasons why we have decided to embark on our own journeys in the health and fitness world. In this episode, we will touch on that, as well as talk about what the journey has done for us, mentally, physically, and on the basketball court. Being from Atlanta, and then living in New York, California, and Florida during high school, we experienced various types of training and we were exposed to different approaches to nutrition as well. We didn’t decide to truly take our journey to the next level until recently, and we will explain that in the podcast. In the end, we want people to realize how easy it is to make small changes to their lifestyle day by day, that will ultimately result in a life that encourages the betterment of the body, mind, and spirit. It’s never too late to start working towards a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle.
