About The Dialectic Art Series

Join Melbourne contemporary artist Frank Sita with his two students Jack Crooks and Robb White as they explore 'Dialectic Art', the fundamental theory behind Frank's decades long art career, and the driving force behind his school: the 'Sita School of Multi-Arts'. Through this lens they explore the nature of art primarily through the inter-relational aspects of music, painting, drama, sculpting and more, and how these mediums can be amalgamated to express a fundamentally artistic experience.

In this episode Frank, Jack and Robb discuss what they see as the primary tool in Dialectic Art: The Voice. Moving through singing and into acting and performance art, they discuss fundamental technical, artistic and philosophical approaches to using one's voice in art to demonstrate how it underpins Dialectic Art across multiple mediums.
