In August 2020, a 25-year-old woman from Fort Worth, Texas, set out for a weekend getaway with her boyfriend, Garrett Michael Benson. Not even 24 hrs after their arrival at Margaritaville Resort Casino in Bossier City, Louisiana, she was allegedly found shot and killed by the hands of her boyfriend. Since then, her alleged killer, Garrett Michael Benson has received bond, was bailed out, and released to his parents, Todd and Michelle Benson.
