In this episode, we examine, compare, and contrast teachings taken from the two traditional schools of thought on breathing: the Appoggio technique taken from Italian pedagogies, and the Bachausenstutz technique taken from German pedagogies.

In this pilot episode, we discuss how the podcast was formed, the idea behind the three origin series (Higher Ed Anonymous, Vocal Instructional Series, and Music Major 101), and our goals for future episodes.
