Jonas Saul

Reeled me in a big one with this guy. Jonas has spoken at multiple writer's conferences and his books have sold over 3 million copies worldwide. He sometimes outranks Stephen King and Dean Koontz in the top 100 most popular authors list. Two of his book series have been optioned off for Film and TV. In this episode, we talk about the benefits of having an author-wife, staying true to yourself, burying doubt six feet under, and how every author should aspire to get to Paul Sheldon's level (not that any of us want our legs broken).

Author of eclectic titles like "The girl that could move shit with her mind" and "Random shit flying through the air", he joins me to talk about what 'optioning' is, a side discussion about video games, as well as our mutual love for profanity. Jackson worked for over 10 years as an editor and writer in the field of journalism before transitioning into creative writing. He is currently the author of over 10 books including the Frost Files and Outer Earth series. The former has been picked up for TV by CBS/Secret Hideout.

Genevieve Morrissey

Author of Antlands and Annasland (pronounced "Anna's land"), a post-apocalyptic series set over a thousand years in the future, she joins me to talk about the benefits of being married to a scientist, our different experiences with being vaccinated, and why I will probably be the undefeated champion of my segment - Bad Writing Advise. Post- Apocalyptic is something we both have in common and I was glad to have her on, as well as give a brief synopsis of my novel and why this genre has so much relevance to the current state of the world.

He is the king of wit and known best for his interesting quips. Some would say he went too early but as I personally learned he felt like it was better to go out at the height of your career than to steadily decline. We talk about how times have changed for the better for people like him, this wonderful thing called the internet, and how maybe keeping a grudge gives you that edge that makes your writing more powerful.

With a name like this, you know he was born to write sci-fi. Author of the Lifehack and Rubberman series, he joins me this episode to talk about badly animated movies, video game mods, the latest season of Castlevania, and - somewhere along the way - interesting costume choices.
