About We Are Not Opps

We Are Not Opps is seeking to stop the killings in urban areas between the clicks/gangs in the streets. They call each other Opps / opposition and this podcast is to inform them that we are not opps, but brothers by changing the narrative and taking direct action to stop the killing of our young men in a cycle of violence that wasn't created by them. So, let's challenge the thinking and come to solutions. Our guests will be people who are directly affected by violence and those who are working to end it. Our real opps/opposition are Dept. of Corr., Dept. of Education, Dept. of Justice and etc.

Our youth are in desperate need of guidance, and we have to take an all-hands-on deck approach and directing that anger to the system that keeps us boxed in. When we come together as a community and get involved in these kids' life, we can possibly change their thinking, that would change their household issues and finally change the community.
