Episode #12: Accepting Reality

In this episode, I share how learning to accept reality brought me peace and clarity. Through a personal experience with God’s validation, I discovered that embracing what is—without resistance—creates space for compassion, understanding, and growth. Drawing from Nephi’s example in the Book of Mormon and insights from my own relationships, I explore how accepting others as they are can transform both our challenges and our connections. Acceptance isn’t giving up—it’s the gateway to lasting peace and meaningful progress. Subscribe and Share: If you enjoyed this episode, don’t forget to subscribe and leave a review. Episode #11: Lessons From the Mountain Part 3: It Takes A Team

In this episode, I share the life-changing lessons I learned while training for and completing the 29029 Everesting event. From a moment of doubt over breakfast to leaning on my husband, my friend Erin, and an incredible coaching team, I discovered just how crucial it is to surround yourself with a strong support system. I talk about the power of clear communication, the importance of asking for and accepting help, and why we’re not meant to face life’s challenges alone. Whether you’re climbing a literal or figurative mountain, having people who believe in you and want your success as much as you do can make all the difference. I even reflect on how the Savior’s role in our lives mirrors that of a trusted mentor—always encouraging, validating, and helping us move forward. Join me as I explore how a solid team can help you achieve your greatest goals. Subscribe and Share: If you enjoyed this episode, don’t forget to subscribe and leave a review. Lessons From the Mountain Part 2: The Importance of Discomfort

In this episode, I explore the critical role of discomfort in our journey to growth and achieving our divine potential. Reflecting on the premortal life and the choice to follow Christ’s plan, I consider why we might have willingly embraced the challenges of earthly life. The 29029 event taught me invaluable lessons about preparation and flexibility, both in training and in life. Preparation strengthens us physically and mentally, while flexibility enables us to adapt when things go off-plan—allowing us to overcome obstacles without breaking our stride. Embracing discomfort, rather than avoiding it, opens the door to endless possibilities. Whether it's a goal, a relationship, or an enduring challenge, meeting discomfort with resilience is key to progress, growth, and ultimate fulfillment. Important Takeaways: 1. Preparation – Success requires preparation, both in planning and in building resilience. Facing discomfort in training builds the mental and physical strength needed for real challenges. 2. Flexibility – Having a clear goal is essential, but being adaptable in the process is equally crucial. Rigidity can prevent progress, while flexibility empowers us to handle unexpected challenges. 3. Embracing Discomfort – Discomfort is not a barrier; it’s the gateway to transformation and opportunity. By facing discomfort head-on, we unlock our potential and access the power to reach our goals. Episode #9: Lessons From the Mountain Part 1: Growth is Not Linear

In this episode, I share lessons learned from the 29029 challenge, where I faced physical and mental hurdles climbing the elevation of Mt. Everest in 36 hours. Standing on the mountain, I realized that growth isn’t linear—it’s full of setbacks and unexpected challenges. Through stories of athletes like Kenneth Rooks and musicians like Ryan Tedder, I highlight the importance of resilience, adaptation, and mental preparation. By pushing through discomfort and trusting the process, I discovered that each step forward, no matter how difficult, moves us closer to our goals. Remember, growth may not be straightforward, but it's always worth the climb. Subscribe and Share: If you enjoyed this episode, don’t forget to subscribe and leave a review. Episode #8: No One Needs to Understand You

In today’s episode, I share a deeply personal story about a time when I felt trapped, misunderstood, and insignificant while presenting an idea that was met with resistance. It wasn’t just about wanting my voice to be heard; it was about what I made that experience mean about myself. The truth is, we often crave validation from others to feel seen and valued, but the reality is that no one needs to understand us or our motives for us to be enough. I dive into the powerful concept that true freedom comes when we release the need for external validation and embrace our own self-worth. I discuss how our desire for acceptance is rooted in primitive survival instincts and how, in today’s world, the need for inclusion has evolved. I also share lessons learned from my own coaching experience on how to process emotions, validate our feelings, and ultimately take back control of our lives by letting others misunderstand us. We end by reflecting on the Savior's example of staying true to oneself, regardless of external opinions or judgments. This episode is a reminder that you don’t need anyone’s approval to live the life you were meant to live.
