On Season 3, Episode 3 of Around The Association, Christian (aka Bayesian Baller) sits down with NBA Hall of Famer, Rick Barry, for an in-person interview in Brooklyn, New York! The pair dive deep into Rick’s illustrious NBA career during which he scored 25k points, appeared in 12 All-Star Games, was named to 10 All-NBA/ABA Teams, and won NBA Finals MVP when he led the Golden State Warriors (who later retired his #24) to the 1975 NBA Championship! Rick — the only player in basketball history to lead the NCAA, NBA, and ABA in scoring — has a résumé that reads like an NBA record book, and has as many remarkable stories from his career as he scored points! This episode has an extra special meaning as well, as today — March 28th, 2024 — is Rick’s 80th Birthday and I thought what better way to honor this living legend on such a momentous day! It was an absolute honor and a privilege to have such a genuine conversation with one of the greatest players in NBA history. An all-time player and an even better person!
