In this week's episode, we dive deep into rave culture through the world of shuffling. When most people think of dancing at raves, it’s usually swaying or head-nodding to the music. But more and more ravers are bringing different shuffling styles to the dance floor, turning movement into something more expressive and dynamic. Our guests today have taken it to the next level by building a community and teaching the art of shuffling to anyone willing to learn. We sat down with Sabrina (founder of Rebel Industry & Rebel's Shuffle Academy) and Sandra (co-founder of Shuffle Rebellion). Two powerhouses behind Toronto's most iconic shuffling dance community. With them we explore the origins of shuffling, how it spread globally through viral videos and social media trends, and how it evolved into the culture we see today.
