This is Part 2 of the Faith and Vaccines Discussion: Few topics seem to elicit stronger emotions or more opinions than the decision of whether or not to vaccinate. Between the loudest extremes, people with honest questions often feel ignored, misunderstood, or even ridiculed. Is it really that much of a risk to just opt out? How can we really know these vaccines are safe? And what about the ethical concerns regarding how they’re made? These are important questions—questions worth taking seriously. While encouraging to read, the reality is that the modern-day Christian woman often finds herself surrounded with a stigma when it comes to being independent that the thought of living fully for God without a significant other seems and feels ungodly. Today, we sit down with an Independent Christian woman and talk about these stigmas, the fear of being an Independent woman, and the faith required to live wholeheartedly for God while waiting for your significant other.
