I'm Abbey T.

Dang. I think it's safe to say 2021 kicked ALL of our asses. Most definitely myself. I never in a million years would think that this is where my life would be, since I last recorded. But, this is life. This is what it's like being in your 20's. You deal and cope with things that get thrown your way, no matter how obscure they are. Again, thank you guys SO SO much for the support of my podcast. I started season one as sort of an insight to adults, about what it's like to find your way as a young adult in this day and age. Now with this second season, I, myself, am trying to give insight and cope with the things thrown my own way. I guess in a way, having this podcast is a way to gather my thoughts, and try and figure out what comes next. Know that a "set back" isn't necessarily a set BACK, more as a set forward. Even with all of these changes, I'm still so optimistic of my future, and just as excited as I was when I took the leap of faith to go out on my own. I'm incredibly grateful that that feeling is still inside me. Thanks again for all the support, feedback, and love. I'll see you all in the next episode!

Aye! It's the final episode of the first season of my podcast! And, wow. I am blown away by the amount of feedback I have received through making this podcast, and the number of lives it has touched. It has made it all so unbelievably worth it for me. Since it is the last episode of my podcast I thought I'd end it with a bang... a big one. This episode is featuring one of my closest friends Emily from back home. She's just as fiery, and impulsive as I am, which makes us the ultimate duo. In 2011, when I was a chunky 12 yr old, and her an awkward 14 yr old, she and I connected through the horse-girl world and have remained friends ever since. Within the past few years of us being friends, we've had all of those typical late-night conversations that all friends have, where you tell stories about your past and all. But with mine and Emily's conversations, we've realized our pasts are actually incredibly similar. This is what leads us to the podcast. In this episode, we discuss mental health, sexual assault/harassment, addiction, bullying, and self-harming. Discretion is very much advised in this episode, and know that the things that are talked about are not for everyone's ears. Eyyy! Welcome to the 4th episode of the I'm Abbey T podcast, featuring one of my very closest friends/ sister-in-law Phoebe Marshall! I met Phoebe at my sister Makayla's wedding for the very first time in June 2019, when she and Justin had been dating for just half a year! And now they're engaged?! So crazy! Even though I'm not blood-related to Justin, he's always been a huge older brother figure for my entire life, and I love him just the same, and I'm so grateful he's met someone like Phoebe to grow old with.
