Former U.S. Army Sergeant’s Life Destroyed by Finasteride

I have been suffering with the devasting effects of the pharmaceutical hair loss drug Finasteride for over two years now. After discovering that my mysterious neurological symptoms were probably the result of the drug, I decided to come off the medication in hopes that these symptoms would dissipate. Unfortunately, this did not happen. My body crashed and caused a myriad of different symptoms that still plague me to this day. The purpose of this video is to share my story, dispel common myths about Post Finasteride Syndrome, and build awareness for this disease in hopes of inspiring others to step up and talk about their experiences. Together, I'm confident this community can find a cure and defeat this devastating disease once and for all. Post-Finasteride Syndrome is the current term for a rare syndrome characterized by devastating physical, neurological, and sexual side effects that persist and progress even after stopping finasteride. This condition occurs primarily in younger men who have taken the drug to treat hair loss, and there is currently no effective treatment available. PFS has a disastrous impact on patients, their families, and their friends. It often leads to disability, isolation, and even suicide.
