Welcome to the first recording of the Mythic Father Sessions. Each month we (Dads and storytellers Marcus Pibworth [//www.marcuspibworth.com] and Jappe Delva) host a free monthly online space for fathers to gather, support each other, discuss challenges and explore the journey of fatherhood, all through the lens of mythology and story.  In these podcast versions, Jappe and I share a recording of the story from each session and then reflect on the story, why we chose it and the mythic connections to fatherhood - to be part of the discussion join us for our next Mythic Fathers session.  For the first gathering in February 2022 Jappe shared the Egyptian story of The Black Prince, which you can listen to in this episode.
