James comes to have a conversation around mental fitness. Having pushed his body and mind to limits with ultra marathons and having been a contestant on Channel 4's 'SAS: Who Dares Wins'. He also comes to speak about what it's like to battle alcoholism and finding the road to sobriety. James brings amazing experiences with philosophical teachings to the topic of mental health.

Lara Kynvin: Let's Get Talking About Suicide

Lara comes to have a conversation about her experiences with suicide. Having spent 3 months in the Priory, where she received electroconvulsive therapy, she now endeavours to use her experiences to help others. She has co-organised the Hampshire & Isle of Wight 'Speak Their Name' suicide memorial quilt that will be unveiled at the 'Let's Get Talking About Suicide' in Portsmouth; which hosts organisations, mindfulness activities, and entertainment to help bring together the community, educate about suicide and support those affected by suicide.

Ben West: Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Campaigner

Ben West is a mental health campaigner following the tragic loss of his younger brother, Sam, to suicide. Ben works with numerous suicide prevention and mental health charities to help campaign, raise awareness and implement effective change so that society is equipped to help support those who may need it.

Tanya Marwaha: Surviving Suicide & Overcoming Adversity to Creating Hope

Tanya Marwaha created Championing Youth Minds, a youth-led peer support community focusing on young people's mental health, she is also on the Organising Committee for Baton of Hope UK and is a mental health and suicide prevention public speaker. She comes to have a conversation about her experiences with physical disability, Depression and attempting suicide; highlighting the importance of cultural and religious influences having both beneficial and detrimental impacts on mental health.

Chris Murray: MHFA Trainer & Government Advisor

Chris comes to have a conversation about his experiences with OCD, Bipolar and mental health crisis. He has positively used his journey to motivate him to become a successful Mental Health First Aid Trainer, Government and Baton of Hope advisor.
