On this episode, I got to speak for the first time with an athlete, specifically a wrestler. Besides knowing that wrestling is a combat sport, I didn’t know much else about it. But Aaron, an incoming 9th grader, explained it really well, and I enjoyed learning about the sport. There’s more than just the physical aspect of wrestling. There’s a large amount of mental strength required to even set foot on the ring, there’s multiple mindsets you need to develop, and like any other sports, Wrestling has its own unique traits that you wouldn't know otherwise. Aaron shares his own experience as a young wrestler and gives some good advice to wrestlers and people that are interested in trying wrestling for themself.
