In this episode, we take a deep dive into going fast, faith in God, and farming. Nick VanStrydonk grew up the son of a powersports dealer. At his earliest years he could be found riding a dirtbike and racing kitty kat snowmobiles. The path of racing snowmobiles brought him through the ranks with much success along the way. Building a close-knit race team with drive and innovation led them to many wins at the Pro Champ 440 level and two World Championship titles at the Eagle River Derby track. 024: Cardell Potter - You Spend Your Whole Life Focused On One Thing

Being involved in any form of racing involves an immense amount of time if you want to succeed. Cardell Potter's journey into racing started at an early age on a kitty kat snowmobile. Kitty kat racing led to years of moving through the ranks of ice oval snowmobile racing. After reaching pro champ 440, the highest rank in ice oval snowmobile racing, continued work to optimize his training and race team performance led Cardell and his team to winning the most prestigious race, the Eagle River World Championship Derby and many other achievements. Even with the year round work that it takes to succeed, Cardell and his family also dove into asphalt stock car racing where they competed at the super late model level at some of the most prestigious race events and series. Racing was truly a family affair for Cardell and his family with their endeavors year round in both snowmobile and stock car racing.

023: Alex Gilhart - You've Got To Take Care Of Everyone Involved

Alex Gilhart grew up spectating many races with his family at a very early age. At the age of 4 he got the opportunity to wave a flag in the flag stand one night at the former State Park Speedway. You could say that moment was the start of it all for Alex. Greg McKarns gave him his first real flagging opportunity at Madison International Speedway. Once he got started it didn't take long for Alex to fill his calendar and start working with more tracks and with other series that would total up to around 60 events a year. Flagging hasn't been his only role; Alex has been performed race director duties and also served as General Manager at Angell Park Speedway. 022: Luke Parmeter - The Sandbox, Supercross, and Storytelling

Luke Parmeter, an award winning filmmaker and content strategist, grew up hill climbing dirt bikes like others in his family. Losing a national title by .05 of a second weighed on his mind even after putting the dirt bikes aside in his teenage years. Through days of skateboarding with his friends, a passion for filmmaking and content creation grew. While attending UW-Stout for Multimedia, the desire to earn a national hill climbing title returned. The willingness to out work and out train others led Luke back to the podium and the accomplishment of capturing the national title he set out for. His payment for training at The Sandbox indoor riding arena was his filmmaking and content creation. That content creation and the growth of his website, LP Motocross, led to a phone call that gave him the opportunity to work for Arenacross and Supercross. As Luke looked to lessen his travel, he launched Luke Parmeter Productions. Luke still gets to work with Supercross, but has now been able to transform his motorsports mindset into a variety of different industries and companies such as Hardscape Mentor and Golden Eagle Log and Timber Homes.
