As a Chiropractic Sports Physician and Fellow of Applied Functional Science (a biomechanics fellowship) for the past 20+ years, Dr. Wayne has had the opportunity to be involved with athletes internationally and locally in a variety of settings, including Ironman Triathlon, Professional Surfing, Snowboarding, Skiing, NFL, and MLB. The highlight of his involvement with athletics is being chosen as an official medical provider for Team USA as well as being appointed the Sports Medicine Director of USA Volleyball Beach from 2012-2015. USAV Beach has taken him all over the world and being nominated by the athletes of Team USA Beach Volleyball to be their Sports Chiropractic Physician for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. #4 Maria Powell: The Power of Yoga

My sister, Maria Powell, graduated from Midwestern state with a BS in Athletic training from Midwestern State. During her time there she began to read about Buddhism, meditation and mindfulness. That practice grew into yoga practice learning from videos and local classes. After college she studied Ayurvedic medicine at Southern California university of health sciences and graduated from that program in spring 2019. Simultaneously she completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training where her love and understanding of yoga grew significantly. She is now in Dallas pursing psychology degrees and sharing what I know with the communities that need it the most. She also has trained and taught yoga to many professional athletes in the NFL and NBA.

Zach Blenkinsopp is a General Contractor who has figured out how to manage his construction company remotely and currently, his biggest client is the United States Government. His company, DRI, Inc. has been one of the fastest growing construction companies in the Southeast and has doubled in revenue three years in a row. This led to his company being named as the Shoals Chamber of Commerce “Start-Up Business of the Year” in 2018. Also, Zach also generates revenue through social media channels and through his YouTube channel. Zach’s hobbies include world travel, golf, fitness, and anthropology.

Since transitioning out of football he helped autoimmune patients with their nutrition and now works with business execs, and entrepreneurs on being able to find more fulfillment in their work life and relationships.
