Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) [https://open.spotify.com/episode/4oKZ046rIAE3zwxDb06ZaO] 0:00 Introduction: How to fix urination frequency at night 0:33 Enlarged prostate and frequent urination 0:54 What causes nocturia? 1:40 Insulin resistance and an overactive bladder 3:16 What increases urination frequency at night? 5:02 Low-salt diets and frequent urination 5:42 Keto and intermittent fasting to reduce urination frequency Overview of the Healthy Ketogenic Diet: https://drbrg.co/3CNCkePhttps://drbrg.co/3QlnPlm Attempting to address urination frequency by treating an enlarged prostate is not the best solution! Frequent urination is often blamed on an enlarged prostate, UTIs, or kidney stones, but there’s a much more common root cause. The most common cause of frequent urination at night is too much insulin in your blood. Insulin resistance is a condition where your insulin receptors no longer accept insulin. To compensate, the pancreas produces more insulin. This is why many diabetics have a problem with urinary frequency at night. When blood sugar is high, the kidneys remove the sugar from the blood to eliminate it from the body. This increases urination frequency. Insulin resistance causes an overactive bladder, even if your blood sugar is normal. Increased urinary frequency at night is an early sign of insulin resistance, which is a precursor to diabetes. Insulin resistance increases stress on the kidneys, which is why diabetes is the leading cause of kidney disease. Insulin resistance can also cause electrolyte imbalances, blood pressure changes at night, and increased cortisol. Snacking at night is the single most significant cause of frequent urination at night. Eliminate all snacks and beverages after dinner to decrease urination frequency at night. Snacking at night can also cause bloating and interrupted sleep. A low-salt diet can also increase urination frequency at night. If you think your nocturia is due to low salt, add more sea salt to your meals throughout the day. A low-carb diet can help reduce nocturia symptoms. Keep your carb consumption under 30 grams per day. Healthy Keto® can combat insulin resistance, improve your health, and reduce frequent urination at night. Intermittent fasting is equally important in reversing insulin resistance. Aim for 3 meals with no snacks, eventually dropping down to 2 meals each day. Ending nocturia will significantly enhance your sleep, which is vital for your heart, blood sugar, stress levels, energy, cognitive function, and more. Don’t forget to get plenty of vitamin D with magnesium. #health #keto #ketodiet #weightloss #ketolifestyle #intermittentfasting #lowcarb Thanks for watching! I hope this helps relieve your nocturia symptoms. I’ll see you in the next video. --- Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices [https://megaphone.fm/adchoices]

Things Sabotaging Your Health (And How to Fix It)

7 top health tips to increase longevity, overall health, and well-being. These simple health tips address common health problems at their root! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) [https://open.spotify.com/episode/4oKZ046rIAE3zwxDb06ZaO] 0:00 Introduction: Dr. Berg’s health tips 0:13 Social isolation health risks 1:09 Lack of sleep health effects 1:31 Refined sugar health risks 1:53 Cut sugar from the diet 3:12 Avoid processed seed oils 3:53 Visceral fat dangers 4:51 Constant snacking and weight gain 5:34 Magnesium, choline, and vitamin D deficiency 6:33 The #1 best health tip 1. Loneliness Loneliness related to social isolation causes a chronic elevation in cortisol, which leads to inflammation and an increased risk of heart disease, stroke, and high blood pressure. Focus on nurturing at least 3 quality relationships. Prioritize regular social engagement and volunteering your time to help others. 2. Lack of sleep Getting less than 5 hours of sleep can increase your risk of early death by 30%! It also increases your risk of weight gain, cravings, and diabetes by 2 to 3 times. Always aim for at least 7 hours of sleep. 3. Refined sugar Processed sugar and starch contribute to liver fat, obesity, Alzheimer’s, and inflammation. Cut sugar from your diet and follow a low-carb ketogenic diet. The Dr. Berg Junk Food Meter app allows you to quickly scan foods to identify the 3 key ingredients in most junk foods: sugars, starches, and seed oils. 4. Industrial seed oils Seed oils create significant inflammation in the body. Avoid processed seed oils and choose healthy oils such as extra virgin olive oil, grass-fed butter, tallow, and lard. 5. Reduce visceral fat naturally Visceral fat surrounds the organs and directly correlates with your longevity. Reduce visceral fat naturally by doing intermittent fasting and keto. 6. Stop snacking Constant snacking makes it impossible for your body to repair damaged cells. Stop snacking and only eat when you're hungry. 7. Nutrient deficiencies A magnesium deficiency can lead to high blood pressure, arrhythmias, and muscle cramps. Magnesium is found in leafy greens and pumpkin seeds, or you can take a magnesium glycinate supplement. It’s said that 40% of people are deficient in vitamin D, but that figure could be closer to 90%! Vitamin D deficiency increases the risk of early death and leads to inflammation and depression. You need at least 10,000 IU of vitamin D3 daily. Low choline intake can cause a fatty liver and problems with memory and cognitive function. You need 550 mg per day, and the best sources are egg yolks and liver. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 60, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. Learn how to choose the healthiest peanuts and peanut butter to avoid additives and ingredients that can be damaging to your health. 0:00 Introduction: Are peanuts healthy? 0:51 Conventional peanuts 1:29 Peanuts and glyphosate 2:01 Hydrogenated oils vs. partially hydrogenated oils 2:50 Monoglycerides 3:12 What is the healthiest peanut butter? In this video, I’m going to tell you about the healthiest peanut butter. Peanuts don't typically cause health issues, but they can cause bloating for some people, and it's still important to consume the right peanuts. Peanuts are not nuts—they are legumes that grow in the soil. Conventional peanuts are heavily sprayed with pesticides and fungicides, which seep into the soil and penetrate their thin shells. This is why you should always choose organic peanuts and peanut butter. Glyphosate is also commonly found in peanuts. Glyphosate can act as an antibiotic and is found in many GMO foods. Always read the label on your peanut butter and ensure it doesn't contain hydrogenated oils. Hydrogenated vegetable oils don’t actually come from vegetables at all—they’re seed oils! Also, avoid peanut butter with added sugar. Monoglycerides are sometimes added to peanut butter. A French study linked this ingredient to cancer and found that it can increase the risk of certain cancers by 46%. Look for peanut butter that only contains peanuts and salt. Organic Valencia peanut butter that contains only Valencia peanuts and sea salt is the best option. Valencia peanuts contain the least amount of aflatoxins. Aflatoxins come from mold and can be very damaging to the liver. Try to have your peanuts with a meal rather than as a snack to avoid spiking insulin. Why Can't I Discuss This?

Did you know there are forbidden topics on YouTube? Find out about the connection between high amounts of vitamin D and autoimmune diseases, as well as some of the other topics I can’t talk about on YouTube! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) [https://open.spotify.com/episode/4oKZ046rIAE3zwxDb06ZaO] 0:00 Introduction: Autoimmune disease 1:24 High doses of vitamin D and autoimmune diseases 2:02 Dr. Bruce Hollis on the benefits of vitamin D 2:38 Autoimmune disease in the United States 3:41 Celiac disease and genetics 4:58 Vaccines and autoimmunity Dr. Bruce Hollis Full Interview:    • Your Body Is BEGGING for Vitamin D!! Today, I’m going to share some fascinating data on autoimmune diseases. First, let’s examine some before-and-after images of people who used high doses of vitamin D for autoimmune diseases. Dr. Bruce Hollis explains that there are many studies on the positive benefits of vitamin D, but many of them have been discarded and are not included in the literature. If many people with autoimmune diseases see their problem go into remission with vitamin D, does this mean the conditions are related to vitamin D deficiency? There has been a massive spike in autoimmune diseases; they now surpass cancer and heart disease. It is currently our top health problem. Could the cause be related to glyphosate or genetics? Let’s take a look. Autoimmune disease occurs when the immune system attacks one's own tissues, creating inflammation. Specific genes can make us more susceptible to autoimmune diseases, but because of heightened immune surveillance, they also have protective factors against viruses and parasites. “Vaccines and Autoimmunity” presents data about specific vaccines and the autoimmune diseases they might trigger. For example, the vaccine for Lyme disease can trigger arthritis in hamsters genetically susceptible to arthritis. In 1950, 5 vaccines were given to children. Today, children receive over 30 vaccines. The CDC recommends 69 doses of 16 vaccines from birth to age 18 months. Could these vaccines overstimulate an already fragile immune system? Is it possible to overdo it? If you have to take a vaccine, taking vitamin D could be a good idea to add some protection. One vaping device can deliver the equivalent of hundreds of cigarette puffs. Many people don’t realize that the average vaping device contains about 650 mg of nicotine, making nicotine addiction easy to develop. Flavorings used in vapes were never intended to be inhaled. When you vape, the aerosol enters your lungs and bloodstream, exposing your body to nicotine and other toxic compounds. Every time you use a vape, your nicotine receptors become desensitized, increasing your craving for more nicotine over time. Nicotine is also a stimulant that constricts blood vessels, promotes inflammation, and can lead to chemical dependence. One of the most common vaping myths is that vapes only contain water vapor. In reality, many vaping products contain solvents, glycerin, synthetic flavorings, formaldehyde, and other toxic byproducts in addition to nicotine.
