The Texas State Board of Education is holding a final vote on a landmark proposal that would mandate Bible passages as required reading for more than 5 million public school students. Gabriella Fredriksen, a volunteer and a Community Outreach Coordinator for the Northshore Humane Society, joins the show to talk about their casino night-themed "Larry Brew Fest," which is tomorrow at the Castine Center in Mandeville.
