There will be successes, yes, but there will also be missteps, and occasionally, heartbreak.  I’ve been through it all— from minor hiccups, steep learning curves, and some truly gut-wrenching losses. These experiences shaped my understanding of camels and deepened my respect for their complexity and resilience. It’s why I’m so passionate about sharing what I’ve learned, not just to make life easier for other camel enthusiasts, but also to ensure these amazing animals get the care they deserve and to encourage more camel ownership worldwide. What Should Camels Eat? 3 Camel Feeding Rules To Follow For Domesticated Camels

What SHOULD a camel eat? Camel’s will eat many different things, even things that aren’t good for them, but that doesn’t warrant correct feeding.    A big myth that people (particularly in Australia) have about camels that they will eat crappy hays and feeds and often stockfeed places will try to sell these to new camel owners, only for the owner to have sick camels either soon after feeding or months after (remember camels are survival animals, they WILL hide their symptoms).
