Acerca de Cassie's Crafting Conundrum

Welcome to a podcast by a gen z writer for gen z writers! Cassidy Jackson has been writing since she was thirteen years old, but didn't start thinking seriously about publishing until she hit 19 years old. Now she's a young woman and having been raised as a gen z kid, she knows the struggle is real. In this podcast, she will speak with other gen z authors and writers who like her are attempting to balance a life and writing life at the same time. In this seasonal podcast, each week there will be a new episode featuring a new gen z author and their struggles while Cassie shares her own writing story and how she manages to write and be a full time college student at the same time. You can contact her with comments, questions, and inquiries at cassiescraftingconundrum@gmail.com. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Bonus Episode: College Reflection 3 Years In

It's back to school month and that means I decided to share a little bit of my personal life with you all.In this episode, I talk about how not stereotypical my college experience has because I don't party, I don't drink, I don't even really socialize because I was too busy healing from my past. And you know what, that's totally okay o not to any of the things people "are supposed to do in college". If you get called boring, so be it! I'm so happy and grateful to be called boring. Just attempt to be yourself and you can go far in life! <3 I'm so proud of you! To those of you going into college: you got this! I believe in you so much! To those of us in college: we got this far, we can do it!!!! To those of you out of college: please tell me you found a job you like that sort of uses your degree(s)? The opinions are my own. Note: I will not respond to any dms on social media about inquiries, comments, questions and general feedback. ---------------------------------------- Hosted on Acast. Season 3 Episode 9: Drawing Boundaries with Social Media, Life, and the Wedding Book with Alex Moran

Today's episode is a little bit different than a full writing episode. Alex Moran (she/her), a Guatemalan adoptee and 20 something year old gen z author from my own home state, is one of my soul sisters and we deep dive into intentional social media use with a little bit of writing on the side. We talk about algorithms, intentionality, burn out, anonymity on social media, look beyond society's boxes, diversification of book characters, central writing themes, "be as real as you want to be, but obviously keep in my your boundaries", and so much more. Our opinions are our own. You can find Alex on Instagram: @alexwritesbooks, TikTok: @alexdoesbookstuff, and she has her own podcast with Tara K. Ross which you can find on Spotify and Apple: The Hope Prose Podcast. Email: cassiescraftingconundrum@gmail.com for inquiries, comments, questions, and general feedback. Note: I will not respond to any dms on social media about inquiries, comments, question and general feedback. Season 3 Episode 8: General College Shenanigans, a Podcast, and Grief/Hope as a Central Theme with Victoria Wlosok

TW: 20 mins in active shooter situation mentioned; 23 minutes another active shooter situation mentioned Victoria Wlosok (she/her) is a 21 year old pubished YA thriller author based in the Southern United States. Through this chaotic episode we talk everything from author timelines, why Victoria chose a podcast for her novel, How to Find a Missing Girl, my own podcast journey, turning actions into words as a writer, social media is really freaking hard, anonymity is sacred, how hope and grief are interwoven in the cloth of life, headcanons and more.
