We have Dr. Alex Sevigny, professor of Communication Studies and Multimedia at McMaster University, discussing the rise in prominence of viral activism and its negative and positive effects. Then we have Rebecca Acheson, a McGill student, and Melissa Martinez Leo, a McMaster graduate. They are two prominent Invisible Children members and will talk about the Kony 2012 campaign, which builds up to the Cover the Night event this Friday, and has been an unprecedented success of viral activism to date, with a YouTube video reaching 90 million views.

April 3 / State of the Occupation

We have Dr. Susie O'Brien, professor of English and Cultural Studies at McMaster University, on to tell us about a topic she has written on: her idea of occupying time in addition to space. Then we have Gent Llukaj to tell us about the local Occupy branch at McMaster, which is now the longest-running Occupy branch at a Canadian university. We finish the show with Dr. Karl Stefan Theodor Andersson who tells us what the movement means to him.

March 20 / Greek Financial Crisis

We have Joanna Tsoni joining us - she is a resident of Athens and has experienced the financial crisis in Greece firsthand, through austerity measures and protests, and will tell us how the country is faring. Then Vassilis "Bill" Arvanitis, a Greek expatriate living in Hamilton, will let us know his take on the crisis and will discuss his move to Canada.

March 13 / Water Worlds

We have Rami Abu-Zeidan joining us - he just returned from Kenya & will tell us about his first hand experiences with the water crisis abroad. Then Doran Hoge will let us know how the crisis is affecting Canada.
