Aquidneck Island, 38 square miles with a bit of everything: Gilded Age mansions, 2800 acres of conservation land, a naval station, good surf, and a famous road-crossing turkey. With three municipalities and the Navy, Aquidneck Island is home to all kinds of folks. During high season, hundreds of thousands of tourists join the party. The thing everyone has in common? Refusing to drive the bridge. Life on the island has its quirks. As seas rise, shorelines lessen, and extreme weather increases, our island community has been coming together to meet these challenges. Tune in to hear their stories!
