"I was pleasantly surprised, I don't think it was that bad at all." This beautiful patient is a year out from her abdominoplasty and hernia repair. She has three children, two of which were born via c-section, so she was anticipating that level of pain but was pleasantly surprised. The recovery was much easier than she expected, and she was back to coaching her daughter's lacrosse team at 2 weeks post-op! She's a nurse and often cares for patient's with drains, so she was very happy to not have to deal with them herself. "I Need Belts Now!": 63-Year-Old Tummy Tuck Patient Gets Real About Her Recovery

"I need belts now, I never used to ever need a belt!" This 63-year-old patient is 6 weeks out from her tummy tuck and has kindly offered to share her thoughts and feelings about her experience. She has been researching this procedure for about three years. Prior to surgery, she was very insecure about her tummy and how the excess skin was causing rashes around her c-section scar.
