Psychic Sasquatch For Trump (Premium E289) Sample

Matthew Johnson was a once respected clinical psychologist, best-selling parenting author, and national media guest. Then he saw something strange in the woods that shattered his worldview. Brad is back following a decades-long descent into the strangest corner of the American fringe: a secretive Bigfoot research site, telepathic communication with beings of light, a spiritual war against evil forces, an elder named Zorth, and eventually, prophecies involving Donald Trump. This is the bizarre saga of Team Squatchin USA - a story that starts with a poop break in the woods of Oregon, and ends with a licensed therapist who’s been accused of starting a Sasquatch cult. God, the Devil, and AI feat. Miles Klee (E323)

People use generative artificial intelligence to troubleshoot technical problems, churn out anime-inspired images based on their personal photos, and drive university professors who teach undergrad courses to the darkest pits of despair. But are the applications of artificial intelligence limited to worldly matters? On today’s episode, we discuss how strings of words generated by mindless neural network predictions over tokenized inputs are burrowing into our very souls. First, we speak to Rolling Stone journalist Miles Klee, who recently published a fascinating investigation into people who have fallen into spiritual fantasies because of their conversations with ChatGPT. And then Annie covers how conservative author Rod Dreher sees the devil in AI chatbots. Have you heard the good news of our lord and savior: byte pair encoding tokenization? We Got This Episode Before GTA 6 (Premium E288) Sample

There is no bigger franchise in the video game business than Grand Theft Auto by Rockstar Games. So naturally, fans of open-world criminal mayhem descend into wild dot-connecting in the years before each hotly-anticipated release. The next installment, GTA 6, has been delayed and is now slated for release on May 26th of 2026. This is despite many assurances from Rockstar that everything was on track for the game to come out in 2025. Alas, this will be another Christmas without an ultra-violent crime simulator wrapped beneath the pine tree. Sad! But at least Rockstar’s long silence gave us some great theories. Rockstar’s trademark hush-hush routine has turned GTA fandom into a sweaty detective bureau: Reddit sleuths pore over patent filings, numerologists map release dates to moon phases, and anonymous “insiders” drop breadcrumbs. In this episode we sift the signal from the speculation and ponder whether weaponized silence is part of the new marketing playbook. episode Adolescence: The Manosphere Strikes Back (E322) artwork
Adolescence: The Manosphere Strikes Back (E322)

Netflix’s Adolescence, a four-part thriller about a 13-year-old murder suspect, has hijacked Britain’s political conversation. Annie Kelly explains why the series hit such a nerve: it maps the online pipelines that radicalize boys in their own bedrooms, dramatizes the deadly consequences of misogyny, and spotlights the adults too clueless to confront these threats. Within weeks, MPs demanded it be shown in classrooms, tabloid headlines frightened parents over coded emojis, and right-wing investigators branded the show a taxpayer-funded anti-incel psyop involving Sophie from Peep Show. Come listen as Annie breaks down how virtuosic television managed to inspire breathtakingly cynical discourse about race, youth violence, and fictional portrayals of social issues. A Working Man feat Gabrus (Premium E287) Sample

A working man. A man who works… to free his boss’ daughter from the clutches of a human trafficking ring. Gabrus joins Jake and Julian as we attempt to make sense of this very puzzling film starring Jason Statham and co-written by none other than Sylvestor Stallone. They’ve come together to make an awful mess, complete with mobsters straight out of Grand Theft Auto and the Russian bad guy equivalent of Beebop and Rocksteady. Gabrus also talks about his experience seeing the film in 4D.
